Tyent Filter Change & Reset - Countertop Models

The filter change and filter reset procedure only takes a couple of minutes.  Here is a step by step guide.

Step 1:  Remove Filter Panel

Apply slight pressure to the textured area of the filter door and push towards the back of the unit - the filter panel door should pop out easily.

Step 2: Remove ACF Filter

Step 3:  Replace with new ACF Filter

***NOTE*** Removing and replacing one filter at a time is recommended to avoid confusion over which filter goes in which position.

Step 4:  Repeat steps 2 and 3

Remove the 2nd filter (Ceramic or Ultra) and replace with a new 2nd (Ceramic or Ultra) filter.

Step 5:  Replace the Filter Door Panel

Line up the tabs on the the door panel with the grooves in the casing on the back of the unit.

Gently press the panel door forward to secure.

**FLUSH THE UNIT FOR ONE TO TWO MINUTES BEFORE COLLECTING WATER TO DRINK**

You should use the "H2O" setting to flush the filters.  Allow water to flow through at the H2O setting until the water is running clear.

Resetting Filter Life Indicator

***NOTE***  If you have a TURBO countertop model you can skip Step 1.

Step 1:  Enter Setup Mode

Touch and hold the "Set" icon for two or three seconds - you should hear two or three "beeps" - then release.

Entering System Setup

When you release the "Set" icon you should hear "System Setup Mode" and the control panel screen should now be a pale blue color.

Step 2:  Reset Filter 1

Touch and hold the "F1" icon for two to three seconds - you should hear two or three "beeps" - then release

When you release the "F1" icon you should hear "First Filter."

Touch and hold the "F1" icon again for two to three seconds - you shoould hear two or three "beeps" - then release

When you release the "F1" icon the second time you should hear "Initializing was performed."

Step 3:  Reset Filter 2

Touch and hold the "F2" icon for two to three seconds - you should hear two or three "beeps" - then release.

When you release the "F2" icon you should hear "Second Filter."

Touch and hold the "F2" icon again for two to three seconds - you shoould hear two or three "beeps" - then release

When you release the "F2" icon the second time you should hear "Initializing was performed."

Step 4:  Exit System Setup

***NOTE*** If you are using a TURBO countertop model and skipped Step 1 it is not necessary to perform this step.

Touch and hold the "SET" icon for two or three seconds - you should hear two or three "beeps" - then release.

Exit System Setup

You should hear "Setup was completed" and the screen should return to the "green" standby color.

Your F1 and F2 icons should now be clear.

Filter Icons Clear

Before using the unit again, be sure to flush the new filters by running the unit at the "H2O" setting.

You will allow water to run through the unit at this setting until the water is flowing clear.
