Using the Elite Water Ionizer

One touch is all it takes.  The touch sensor control panel lets you produce water at any level with a single touch.  Simply touch the icon for the pH level you want to produce and your Evontis Elite water ionizer goes right to work.  To stop water production, touch that same icon again.  You can toggle between the different available pH level presets without the need to stop water production.  Switching from using an acidic level to fill a pot to prepare pasta to an alkaline level for removing dirt and contaminants from produce is as easy as touching an icon.

The Elite's color display gives you all the information you need about the unit's performance.  Your level selection is displayed on the screen while the color of the screen serves as an additional indicator of your pH selection.

Remaining filter life and unit performance are also right on the display screen.  If there is any sort of issue with the unit, the Elite will let you know through both audio alerts and visual cues on the display screen.

Maintenance Made Easy

No other water ionizer on the market today makes changing the filters as easy as the Evontis Elite.  With most water ionizers, replacing the filters involves moving the unit around to access the filter area which is usually found on the back of the unit.  The Elite's innovative design allows you to replace the filters without ever moving the unit. 

The entire front panel of the Evontis Elite swings open to reveal the filter area.  Then, each filter tips out slightly making it easier to grip the filter to remove it and replace with a new filter cartridge.  Once you've replaced the filters, simply close and secure the front panel door with light pressure.  An alarm will sound the next time you use the unit if you have not closed the door properly.

Fully Adjustable

Source water varies from city to city and your water ionizer should be able to compensate for these differences.  Every alkaline and acidic preset on the Evontis Elite water ionizer can be individually adjusted to produce the pH level you want at each setting. 

Adjusting your Elite water ionizer is easy - it just involves accessing the "set up" mode from the front control panel and selecting the levels you want to adjust.  The amount of power delivered to the plates at each preset can be adjusted up or down to produce stronger or milder water at the selected preset.

The set up mode is intuitive and easy to use, easy to follow and the Elite gives you both audio and visual prompts along the way so that you always know right where you are.

Installation Options

Standard installation of the Evontis Elite is easy and can be done in just a few minutes.  You'll receive a diverter piece which you will use to replace the aerator on your faucet.  You'll connect a small hose to the diverter and the other end of the hose to the Elite unit itself as a water supply.  A second small hose will run from the unit into the sink to drain.  That's all it takes for the basic installation.

You also have the option of connecting the unit directly to the cold water line below the sink to free your faucet of the diverter piece and hose.  Your Evontis Elite will still sit on the counter however instead of connecting the unit to your faucet for a water supply, you'll run the small hose down below the sink and connect it directly to the cold water line.  This alternate installation will require a small hole to run the water supply hose do the cold water line and an additional T-adapter which is available through Tyent SuperStore.

The alternate installation method takes a little more time but can be done easily and does not require calling a plumber.  Many people like having the convenience of alkaline ionized water without the extra hose running from their faucet tot he unit.
